Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1–2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp dried oregano
1–1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1 – Sauté Onions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Step 2 – Add Garlic:

Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 3 – Cook Ground Beef:

Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Cook until fully browned.
Step 4 – Season Beef:

Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.

Mix well to coat evenly.
Step 5 – Add Potatoes & Broth:

Stir in diced potatoes and beef broth.

Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
Step 6 – Cook Potatoes:

Cover skillet, reduce heat to low, and cook for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
Step 7 – Add Cheese:

Notes
Use medium potatoes for even cooking.
