A vibrant dish featuring crispy beef tossed with spicy-sweet sauce and fluffy rice, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.
Ingredients

- 300g lean beef mince (5% fat)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 20ml dark soy sauce
- 15ml sriracha
- 10g tomato puree
- 20g honey
- 250g cooked rice
- Optional: sliced spring onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Chop the onion and bell pepper, and mince the garlic.
- Heat 1–2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 20–30 seconds.
- Add the beef mince, breaking it apart, and cook until browned (5–7 minutes).
- Mix soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, and honey in a small bowl, then pour into the skillet. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice, stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until hot and coated in sauce.
- Optional: Spread mixture in the pan and let crisp for 1–2 minutes before stirring.
- Serve hot, topped with spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, let the rice crisp in the pan before serving. Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
