  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 20 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped (reserve 4 whole cookies for topping)
  • ½ cup (85g) dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until glossy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Gently stir in chopped Oreos and chocolate chips, saving a few pieces for topping.
  6. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan, sprinkle reserved Oreo pieces on top, and bake 25–30 minutes until a toothpick near the edge comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely before cutting for clean slices.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and allow them to cool fully before cutting. Always use room-temperature eggs and avoid overmixing the batter.
