- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 20 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped (reserve 4 whole cookies for topping)
- ½ cup (85g) dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until glossy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Gently stir in chopped Oreos and chocolate chips, saving a few pieces for topping.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan, sprinkle reserved Oreo pieces on top, and bake 25–30 minutes until a toothpick near the edge comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting for clean slices.
Notes
For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake and allow them to cool fully before cutting. Always use room-temperature eggs and avoid overmixing the batter.
