Instructions
-
Prepare Your Foundation: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Cut sweet potatoes into uniform ¾-inch cubes.

Brown the Turkey: Add ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook for 6-8 minutes until no pink remains.
-
Layer the Aromatics: Stir in garlic, bell pepper, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, and cinnamon. Cook 2 more minutes to bloom spices.
-
Combine and Season: Add diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
-
Assemble the Bake: Layer sweet potatoes in the prepared dish, then top with turkey mixture. Cover with foil.
-
Bake to Perfection: Bake 35-40 minutes, remove foil, and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until sweet potatoes are fork-tender and top is lightly golden.
