This Lemon Grilled Salmon is a fresh, zesty, and smoky summer favorite. Juicy salmon fillets are marinated in lemon, garlic, and herbs, then grilled to perfection for a healthy, flavorful dish that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper, to taste

Lemon slices, for garnish

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Make the marinade — Mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

  2. Coat the salmon — Pat salmon fillets dry, then brush or spoon the marinade over both sides.

  3. Marinate — Place in a shallow dish or zip-top bag. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.

  4. Preheat the grill — Heat to medium-high. Clean and oil grates.

  5. Grill the salmon — Place salmon skin-side down (if skin-on). Grill 6–8 minutes per side, depending on thickness.

  6. Check doneness — Salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork or reaches 145°F (63°C).

  7. Rest & garnish — Let rest 2–3 minutes. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or chili flakes to the marinade.

Always oil the grill well to prevent sticking.
