1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
¼ cup cornstarch
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
Rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
-
In a bowl, marinate chicken with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
-
Prepare sweet chili sauce (optional homemade): Combine sugar, rice vinegar, and chili flakes in a small saucepan; heat gently until sugar dissolves.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
-
Dredge marinated chicken in cornstarch and cook in the pan until golden brown (about 5–7 minutes).

Pour sweet chili sauce over the chicken and stir to coat evenly. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, lightly coat chicken with cornstarch before cooking.
